Please note that as this is a model appointment, your treatment will be performed by a student under the close guidance of Jessica. While every effort is made to ensure high-quality results, outcomes can vary, and additional touch-up sessions may be required to perfect the final result.

These touch-ups are not included in your initial treatment fee and will be performed by one of our experienced House of Brows artists at an additional cost.

Model treatments are a valuable part of the learning process and are not the same as booking with an experienced artist. However, they are a great opportunity to receive beautiful results at a discounted rate while supporting the next generation of skilled artists at HB Academy.

For these appointments you must come to your appointment photo ready which includes clean and styled hair, simple or no makeup and strictly follow the preparation to ensure best results for photography and videography.

Please read the following information thoroughly.

Cosmetic Tattooing is considered a semi permanent procedure as

you will not be able to wash your result off. However, your body will naturally metabolise the pigment over the years. Treatments generally lasts from 1-5 years and House of Brows recommend a refresh every 2-3 years to keep your results looking their best, however longevity varies based off many factors including how natural or bold your results, lifestyle, health and skin factors.

The pigments are carefully selected to suit each individual skin

tone. The choice of colours depend on your skin tone, the colour of your hair and eyes.

The shape is drawn and measured during your consultation and

tattooing will only begin once you have agreed that it is the shape you love.

Your appointment includes:

A face to face consultation

Face measurements and custom design

Custom pigment colour match

Topical anaesthetic

Aftercare instructions and take home pack

You may also require a touch up appointment within 4-8 weeks

which will incur an additional fee from $100.

Pain is minimal and most clients are extremely comfortable

during their appointment.

PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

Do not use any skin/blood thinners (Vitamin A, Glycolic acids)

on the area 2 weeks prior to your appointment.

Do not consume any alcohol, fish oil, caffeine or take any blood thinners (Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Niacin) 48 hours before your procedure, this may cause excess bleeding and may affect your results.

We will not be able to tattoo over any blemishes, sores or moles in or around the area.

Cosmetic injectables cannot be done 2 weeks either side of your appointment.

We do not treat clients with diabetes or other autoimmune conditions, heart conditions, skin conditions or deep wrinkles.

You will not be able to receive a tattoo service if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy and it is not recommend if breast feeding.

You will not be able to receive a tattoo service if you are prone to keloid scarring.

You will not be able to receive a tattoo service if you have acne or are taking acne medication.

NUMBING

Microblading/Eyebrow Feathering and Lip Blush: Apply EMLA numbing cream & cover brows with small square of cling film 45 minutes prior to your appointment. This can be purchased from a pharmacy. Apply a THICK layer & come into the salon with the cling film on.

Ombre and Combination Brows: No pre numbing required - we will apply topical anaesthetic during the treatment.

Eyeliner: No pre numbing required - we will apply topical anaesthetic before and during the treatment.

POST APPOINTMENT AFTERCARE

Just like any cosmetic procedure, the full healing process can take much longer than the initial healing process. The entire process can take up to 6 weeks.

For Brows:

The first 10 days are crucial for the healing process and 90% of your result will depend on how well you look after them.

You must clean your face around the area with makeup wipes or a wet face washer. You cannot get your healing tattoo wet for 10 days.

It is not recommend to perform strenuous exercise for the duration of the initial healing process. Exercising will promote sweating which will cause the pigment to push out of the skin leaving you with a patchy result.

After 5-7 days exfoliation will take place. The top layer of the skin will peel off, leaving a softer, lighter colour below. After this process is completed, you can return back to your normal routine.

No direct sunlight during this period. No saunas or excess sweating.

For Lips and Eyeliner:

As above however you are not required to keep them dry and the healing process is usually much shorter, around 5 days.

If you are not committed to this healing period do not proceed.

PRIVACY POLICY

At House of Brows we take your privacy seriously.

For the safety of our clients, we maintain records of any health or medical conditions which may indicate that a particular service or treatment should not go ahead (eg allergies, pregnancy, skin conditions) or a particular product should not be used (eg products containing nuts, fish oils etc)

These health records are not used for any other purpose.

Client records are held securely within our salon software system and can only be seen by members of the salon team

Please attach a CLEAR photo of your full face with no makeup or eyebrow tint to ensure suitability. YOU WILL NOT BE APPROVED WITHOUT A CURRENT PHOTO.

I understand that all semi-permanent procedures carry with them the possibility of complications and consequences including but not limited to fading of skin pigments, risk of infection, scarring, eye damage, inconsistent colour and bruising. If I would like the best results from the procedure then I will need to follow after-care instructions and book in for a 4-8 week follow up.

I have received detailed instructions for the aftercare of my treatment and I will strictly adhere to these instructions. I understand that this treatment is for cosmetic purpose only. That no guarantees have been made to me regarding the results, I am responsible for the after care using only the aftercare advice provided, if not I may have risk of infection or fading of pigments if not carried out fully. The general nature of tattooing as well as the specific procedure to be performed has been explained to me. I understand that I cannot donate blood for 6 months after the treatment.

I understand that the provider of this procedure takes no responsibility for any possible complications and consequences that may result from the procedure, particularly if I neglect to answer these questions properly, if I fail to accurately disclose my medical history or if I fail to take pre-procedure and or aftercare treatment.

I will not hold the therapist responsible in the event of any damage and shall not be entitled to take action against him/

her at Law or Equity for such treatment. I am not pregnant. I have answered truthfully to all above questions on this form. If I experience any changes, reactions or concerns after my treatment I will notify my therapist immediately for further consultation.
